Untold Stories 55: Birth of an Entrepreneur

I mostly write positive motivational stories as in general, but let me try something different.

The birth of an Entrepreneur is not when he is born or his company is launched, but when a person’s Idea is turns into reality and he earns his first profit.
When I was in Class 7th, situations turned a little similar…
I was studding in Kendriya Vidyalaya Ordnance Factory Medak, Yeddumailaram, A.P, India. On those days every year Annual day was celebrated. On class 7th in particular I got attracted towards money and then started thinking how even I can earn some.?
Starting a process of THINKING is very crucial step in one’s survival as it kicks you out of both your comfort zone as well as the zone of worries.
I believe even if you think on every worry you have one by one, you would also meet up with the solutions of all your worries or a dead end at least lol 🙂.
So the thinking of making money as a garde 7th student gave me a brilliant idea of all time. (at that age and time I thought it was brilliant)
Someone gifted me a Disney Cartoon Stamp Pad. There were 15 Cartoons Stamp in the collection box. I could use any ordinary ink and good quality paper to make Group of 15 cartoons and sell the paper A4 size paper which was practically of no value into at least 1 rupee per page.
I asked my teacher Mr. Diwakar Sir, Teacher of SUPW department Kendriya Vidyalaya OFPM to kindly allow me to install a stall in the School. (SUPW stands for Social Useful Productive Work) On those days even Mr Diwakar trained some of his selected students to sell some of projects, models and paintings made by students in SUPW Class. Unfortunately I was not one of them. Thus on my request Mr Diwakar agreed to allow me to set up a stall in school grounds on one condition, I have to pay him the 50% of cash which I make on the day of sale.
I thought for a while and said, Its unfair, all your other students are using the materials provided by school and having 50% of profits only to sell those exhibits under your guidance. But in my stall all the production would be mine own, then its really unfair to give you 50% of our earning just for the permission of the store. I can give you 10 to 15% of the earnings or maximum 30% of the profits we make.
Mr Diwakr denied my offer, thus to ask for the permission of the store, I went to Principal of the School. Principal was kind enough to understand my current situation and instead of one stall she also gave me one preparation Room for production on those particular day again on condition that I clean the room at the end of the day which seemed a fair deal to me. When I took this idea and permission of execution to my classmates more ideas popped out. Aditya Kochar came with a saying we can also serve Sandwich. Bread is Cheap, we can add some salads, pack that up and sell it for 5 rupees each. At that time I dint see the investment I am doing as the profits seems high and I saw a team was forming. Kanchan Sharma and Jaswinder Singh joined me for production, Abhinav Guptha for sales And we worked hard two days in a row to plan for the store and get everything ready.
After school we stayed for more time in school and also at home to Print the stickers. Bought Bread, Arrange for Stove and Some how Pop-Corns also got involved till the end.

As I was buzy in production and spending more time talking with Kanchan rather than giving my focus on the business, I had no clue how my store is actually running. When I came out after whole production was done for my store, I saw all the decoration we did on our table was taken up by Diwakr Sir, I asked my team why did they took our decoration Cloth, Paper weights and some of my stickers? My classmates had no answer. I went to stall which had our decorations and asked back for the materials we purchased to use on our store. The stall members denied to give us our own material as it was provided by Diwakar sir. I had no time to go to Principal for complaint such issues and thus I along with my mates just snatched the materials we purchased and brought back into our table. Diwakar Sir saw what changes had happen around and did not react instantaneously. Instead when the General Manage came to visit each and every stall and appreciate the hard work done by every student, Mr Diwakar just diverted his path showing all his exhibitions and purposely said, our store is nothing to watch too and asked him to move ahead without giving any attention to our stall.
I was sad that I did not get to meet General Manager as I planned and we all team members worked hard for the store. But moments after GM’s visit, it was our store which got busiest the most. Everyone planned for different exhibits for sale, but no one thought of food to sell on this particular day. I remember Abhinav and Aditya being in the front desk sold last bread and last popcorn in our store and taking our all investments I earned a profit of 15 rupees per person.

Though every schoolmate is apart now, but I was still happy that I was successful in creating a momentary team, execute an idea, cross all the hurdles and most important make some profits for me and my team. I saved that 15 rupees for many years in my life till the time it lost its value…. But the story kept it my mind.

The anger for Mr Diwakar Sir for being Greedy negative person, my interest in girls would divert my thinking in business, Gratitude for Principle and my classmates for being there to make my idea work and adding values to it. Definitely I believe in the school days the Entrepreneur was born. Now its time to face the Real world…and I still believe either a good product or a good story would definitely come out the actions in future.

Cheers Reader
Hope you Have a Week Ahead

Untold Stories Post 53: The Right Price

It was strange for me, and as even quoted by Anupam Kher, famous actor of India that “we the people of India have made a new trend to criticize our own country.”
When people from other nation ask us and tell us that they are planning to take their next visit to India, we simply ask, WHY? Everything is good in the country you are living then why are you taking a holiday to spoil your own mood by going to India.
We just wonder and remember the struggle we faced and the things happened in front of us in India that we simply state that as an example to avoid the visit to nation.

On the contrary when people from other nation describe India, they feel immense pleasure in describing the journey. I can quote many example of my own friends from other country who visited India and had a very pleasant experience.
Tourism is a part of Economy of India and thus, I must make a change in myself and promote any travel instead of giving the regular attitude and statement that “Dude, please don’t go to India”

But today’s example story is not about promotion of tourism but to acknowledge the price. Again, I would like to tell you that this particular two Incident did not happen with me but my close mates were present when the incidents took place. So I rely on their trust for the stories to be true

1) On a Lemon Soda Shop in Nagpur, India we were sitting and ordered two glass of Lemon soda. We knew the price of Lemon soda is 10Rs per glass. While we were drinking some western tourist approached the shop. The tourist asked for the price and the shopkeeper replied the price of per glass of Lemon soda is 500Rs. For the tourist the glass of that juice would be just amounting to approx. 10$ in their currency and thus the tourist accepted the price and paid 500Rs per glass of Lemon Soda.
We felt sad that why did the shopkeeper looted the tourist. The shopkeeper’s reply was simple, “For years, people from western world looted India, and now it’s just time to taste them their own medicine.” At that day my age being just 16 did not stand up against the shopkeepers behavior but if it was today I will.

2) When my friend Ravish Pathak came to Australia, he called his known to pick him up from Brisbane airport. His friend came and said, I would pick you up but if you will fill my fuel tank to come to Airport and Drop you at city. My friend Ravish agreed and paid his friend an amount of 70$ for the fuel for dropping him from Brisbane airport to Brisbane City. In today’s price range, keeping in mind that the fuel price is constantly increasing, it only takes about not more than 20$ to fill up a tank to make a journey to and fro Brisbane Airport from Brisbane City.

3) When I started to fix a broken glass door of previously rented house by me, and broken due to my mistake I approached many people to fix the glass in the desired time when I am free. As the glass was close to door, each and every person recommend me to apply a SAFETY GLASS while fixing the door. And as the fault to break the glass was from my side, I was ready to fix the glass as suitable to Australian standards.
I called big companies like Obrien Group and asked for a price quote. To fix they replied it will be costing me 970$. I approached the local glassy and he was ready to fix the glass in price quote of 345$ but it was a waiting period of 3 weeks that I had to before the glass was ordered. I called O’Brien again and asked for a cheapest quote and they replied, “We don’t do the cheapest work but we do the Quality work my friend” and they stuck to 970$ as their quoted price.
Finally, I researched more and fixed the glass with a price of 660$ with third glassy.

The above two stories happened before more than 2 years from now. But the 3rd story happened just 3 months back. The chronology of events made an impact on my mind to take decisions further in the 3rd story. 1st and 2nd story made me skeptical that there are people in world, ir-relvent to the country they belong just wants profits in their pocket and made me more skeptical to believe on such higher price to be paid on a work which can be dealt more economically. It made me so skeptical that trusting a highly reputed company like O’Brien was difficult for me. On the other hand I even did not trusted the most economical offer I had, doubting the quality of service I would be getting might be poor.
I am still unaware what is the Right Price to fix the door, or the price to buy a Lemon soda, or a travel from Brisbane Airport to Brisbane City. And from what prospectives I should judge the commodities. But currently I can only know that just because I have some bitter memories in my past, I must not guide people not to buy something just because I had a bad experience. Not to demote the tourism of India just because I had little bitter experience there. Who knows the next person might find a more better price, more economical satisfying price with a quality of service. Who knows The next person I am talking with “KNOWS THE RIGHT PRICE”

So don’t stop and Keep making some mistakes, keep finding the right price – one day or other you will have a Great Price story to tell to the world.

Happy Day
Have a wonderful week ahead.

Untold Stories 52: SORRY REFUGEE!!!!!

Day by Day my frustration of not actually working in the field that I studies for several years is coming out on my face. I randomly started talking Rude to people.
This is a story of recent incident happened on 1st of March 2016.

I was walking out of Queensland Universty of Technology and out on the Gate bunch of people stopped me asking DO you support Refugees?
I did the same thing what a decent qualified man does these days. I ignored them, changed my path and started walking away.
But out of all one girl was persistent and she walked in front of me with a newspaper article may be one or two weeks back date and asked me again
Do you support Refugees? Do you care what’s happening to them?

I wanted to shout out the truth, I FUCKING DONT CARE. I am JOBLESS, I don’t know how after one next month I am going to pay my rent and I am tired of knocking Doors to HR, private recruitment companies, I have to first build myself to at least support myself before I can even think about supporting Refugees if my heart ever say so.

But did I say that? NO.
I acted more sophisticated and try my best to have a polite, Scarstic conversation as most Cruel Bosses to me Always do.

I asked her back, WHY are you Supporting Refugees?
She was surprised by my question, What do you mean Why?

This was the moment I was honest and I replied, “Till date, who so ever I worked with, Everyone Hates the Refugees and I know their reason why they hate them but never heard a story from the supporter point of view, Thus would like to know why you Support Refugees? ”
She said, No only the RICH GUYS hate the REFUGEES. And people have the saying that they take our jobs, our land and our resources.

I said, they don’t hate about taking away anything for them Everyone I know is self-aware GEOGRAPHICALLY the complete Land of GLOBE Belong to everyone and everyone has right to earn a living and feed themselves, they just hate saying why we have to work for them without our interest and they enjoy the benefits without any labour?
She was still puzzled by my statement, so I started explaining further.

Lots of my colleagues working in various field pay huge amount of Taxes. First of all the mentality of Taxes is like a Penalty on the hard work money they are earning.
On top of that they got angry that Refugees gets money for not working at all. I met some refugees who came to Australia by Sea Route. The Refugee I recently met told me When they started on small boat from their country they were 40 and only 9 were able to survive the tidal storm and reach Australia.
The Refugee said in his home country he was feeling helpless by not earning anything and he even did not have money to afford a journey to a developed country thus he took the serious step. And later he said that after a week of his arrival he got his registration. In next two week he will get his TFN and his 300 $ weekly allowance will start.

I continued. There was a time when earning even 100$ a week was a difficult task to me and my colleagues. And everyone was struggling hard enough to work for money to earn their bread. And on top paying Taxes the share of Taxes going on around 300$ a week to Refugees even when they are not working at all will just make them lazy and they will start depending on the money instead of working.
Thus i asked the question again, Why are you supporting REFUGEES?

The girl Replied in a very strong and firm voice, “BECAUSE THEY ARE HUMANS !”

Her one single line was just like a hard slap on my face. Though not physical but mentally or internally I felt OHHH TAPISH, YOU ARE GONE, You don’t stand a chance against this dialogue.
But I am a stubborn person, I still wanted to know what’s the driving energy or the strong cause that makes a girl wake up at morning, dress up and come to QUT orientation week and Educated everyone about REFUGEES?
So I asked a different question, Won’t THAT will downgrade the Economy of this Country?

At this instance, the team leader who was watching this conversation from some time approached us and interrupted our conversation and said, “Actually not, It is giving more hands for the Economy to build up.
And if you don’t mind we are little busy here. Would you mind….”

I was again shocked, Initially, I wanted to walk off but they stopped me to talk with them and now I am interested in talking and they want me to walk out of this conversation!!! Was I really Mean ???

I said ok and started walking back. The words “Because they are Humans” were repeated in mind. Inside there was guilt that The Girl is actually doing something Good and I am stopping her from doing that. That’s not me.
Why did I do that?

And adding to it, the words “Because they are Humans”, or in fact the word “HUMAN” was not used to resemble just an evolving species on Earth but the word HUMAN had emotional quotient.
It was just a deeper feeling. But then what went wrong. Either was anything on my argument not right? I re-evaluated. All the points I presented in front of that girl were politically Correct. Just why just one link “Because they are Human” Disconnected me to the world I am living in and Forces me to do something good.
Why the hell I was even feeling GUILTY?

For all my life I have learnt to Compete. Living in India and belonging to middle-class family background the only think I focussed was to compete, Competing on Resources, Competing on education, Competing to support or be against reservation. Most of the time I don’t even Realize what competition I was under but I was competing.
Made several friends but it was again taught to us that while you face interview, and if you are asked should the employee select you or your friend in this interview, YOU SHOULD ALWAYS SELECT YOURSELF.

“YOURSELF” that the number one priority what I was giving always. And I am taught I am doing right when I choose ME before anyone. Probably now there is just simple conflict between me, my inner ideal voice and the practical person I am outside.

I guess still strong belief system has not yet establish that I can choose anyone other than me when the choice is between me and someone (when someone being stranger at this instance)

So SORRY REFUGES, Currently I DONT SUPPORT YOU. I can’t even fully support myself in the tough world. Maybe One day…I will.

So The Question is Back to my readers…. DO you support Refugees???? Why or Why not?

UTSP 51: The Two new Words FUCK and Fornicate

It is sad that I have to type this Story again as the last time I posted on 7th March is somehow could not be uploaded either due to internet problem or the post got deleted by some virus on my pc.
This might be slightly different than what was the original post as I frankly don’t remember the exact words of my posting.

When I was in Class Vth, I was studying in ODF Yeddumailaram which is commonly known to situated and called as “SOUTH INDIA” by rest of the world, Actually geographically when Maharashtra is called in Central or western part of India so places near Hyderabad are technically no exactly in south of India but in a border where we define central and southern part of India.

Though this post do not focus on physical situation of India, I justwanted to use the stereotype that I lived in South India where a language was used which is diffrent than the two popular national lanugage of India i.e English and Hindi.just wanted
As every person in my school was comming form diffrent paraental baground, thus there was no common definite ground to take “HINDI” as basic language. As though Hindi is called as popular National Language of India, I was mostly raised in diffrent part of India where I never felt Hindi as National Language.
Thus as being in English medium school, Everyone was forced to learn English and communicate in the language or else pay the fine. Fine usually use to be small punishment or a note to your parent that the student is miss-behaving or not following the teachers. That note was enough to change the soul of a studnet those days..ha ha…

The main problem we faced in our Class Vth was, before Class Vth we all had permission to talk, express and learn in our native language. But form now most of our literature (except literature of other language) was wirtten in English. Thus to learn these subjects we need to learn English Compulsarly.
Now To teach any language to any person, first of all a “will to learn” has to be developed. The will to learn Engish was created by giving more importance to English than our native langue. People who know english were treated as Royal people and the people who dose not know English were looked down in most of Indian community. So Part 1 of learning English has begun at home, Public places and many other surroundings (including markets and parlaiment house of India). So to be treated as a Royal Member of so called grwoing “SOCIETY” student started learing English.

The second lesson to teach a language after the ‘will to learn’ is teach a person the words. If a person dose not know the words and what dose the indivisual words mean, he would never be able to express what he really trying to say.
Mostly we tried to translate our native language to English and most of Gramaticall wrong sentences developed which sometimes we still think are correct.

The primitve ones were
“They dont have money to walk house” which was exact translantion form Hindi sencence like “Unke Paas Ghar Chalane k liea Paise nahi the”
The better way of writing the sentence would have been “they did not have money to run the household”

Other jokes inclued “Sit Quite, Principle is revolving around the school”
“Open window let the air force come in”

On those days, management of school was still happy that students have at least started trying to learn English what ever the means they are applying.
Some days later, addresing to the problem of words and their meaning, Lot of school started the technique of learning two new words daily.
Every student was asked to learn two new words form the Dictonary and write it on the black board of class which all the classmates use to learn and copy and in their note books.
The motive was every year i.e in 365 days every student can add 730 words to his vocabluary. (365×2=730)

The overall idea seemed good but giving power to kids means their choice to create, distroy or complicate things daily. One of those experice include learnig such words which no one would be teaching the Grade 5 students but are openly availabe in any dictonary.

I know in one of the UTSP I have told you the story how I learnd the meaning of “FUCK” but there is an extension version of the story which was not possible to cover in last ustp.

When it was my turn to write the two new words on the school black board, I wrote exactly this with Chalk and Duster:

The Two New Words of Today

1) FUCK: it is a verb, it means to have sexual intercourse with someone. It also mens damaging or ruining something.
2) FORNICATE: it is a verb, it means to have sexual intercourse with someone is not married to.

Usually this was the time that my English teacher would have left his seat, taken a big cane and hit me with the stick as hard as he could and given a written complaint to my parents for miss behavior.
But this was the first time he was so buzy in laughing over the incidnet that he just said, “I am glad I am your English teacher and not your Science teacher.”
The incident did not stop here and as according to basic rule that what ever goes on black board it is also copied down to each and every student note book without askign a single doubt. And thus it happened. Every student copied down the exact two new words and their meaning on their note book for them to learn for that day and take the notes at home.
I hope lot of students had to go through PEP TALKS all because of my stupidity or naughtiness.

Overall there is nothing in particular I have learned in today’s post just like in most of the post I do. But when I re-think the incident, I just wanted to tell you that I was momentarily a leader at that time when I was given the responsibility to learn two words and tech to all the class. Though because of my either ignorance or naughty behavior I miss leaded all the students and made them learn two words that they shouldn’t be learning at that age.
At school everyone had the learning attitude and mistakes can be overriden. But this can happen in real life too. A person not worth being leader can be made momentary leader and you may have to follow the person. As I know I was happy in childhood to do the naughty things and miss-lead the students as I thought it is fun. But in real life if a leader due to his poor sense of judgment or his ignorance guides you in wrong direction or miss-leads you. It is my humble request to please stop re-evaluate if you are doing right by following your leader and then take your final decision.

Untold Stories 50: The Stories IMPACT

Its been 50 weeks since I am writing stories. Some might have made sense or other might be too kiddish or too mature.
Lets take a small tour in a human’s life for the impact of stories.

When I was small. Actually small in indefinite past tense. Thus when I was of age 5 to 10, there was a telecast of serial on Indian Television called SHAKTIMAAN. Yes I have told you about Shaktimaan in previous stories too. (Quick Flash Back: He was Indian Super Hero who could spin and fly, use natural resources and 5 elements of nature form which he and all living creatures are believed to be created and Fight Evil People like every other superhero I came to know afterwards).
But when I was small, And this story was told to me, I actually believed the Superhero is real. There might be several factors for it.
1) It was TV serial. Thus it was on Picture/ Photographic proof. And since the concept of Photoshop or graphics was unknown to me The thing which I saw I assumed to be real.
2) The concept was he was created by 5 elements of nature. And most of Indian mythology also supports the 5 elements theories. Thus I assumed the superhero to be real.
3) He was a good man and fighting evil. Just like a JUST person dose. Thus I assume him to be real.
4) He did not achieve his power by accidents, he did years of “TAPASAYA” i.e Yoga + Spiritual awakening and got the powers. Thus the concept or possibility or hope of “every man achieving his dream by handwork and persistence,” made me believe he was real.
5) When I talked with other kids of my age. EVEN they believed in him. Thus it gave me more confidence that what I believe is true.
There are much more factors but I think you got my point….

I was so influenced by the serial that even I believed that with handwork and persistence, with yoga and spiritual energy, one day Even I can become a Shaktimaan.
I started fighting with elders, spiritual teachers, and even with people which have never ever heard of Shaktimaan, to teach me how to become one. I was so desperate to learn to become shaktimaan that I followed everything he did to have those powers.
I started learning Meditation. I started reading books on awakening of spiritual energy. I started performing yoga. And the funny thing is I was not alone. Thus there was a pressure of competition that I want to become Shaktimann Before everyone else dose.

After some years the story writers and producers of Shaktimaan were shocked on what Impact the presentation has done among the kids. Unlike me there were kids going to extremes to prove their believes are true. Kids, definitely smaller than the age of understanding that i had that time, started climbing roof tops of multi story buildings and shouted “SAVE ME SHAKTIMAAN”
Some went more steps further and JUMPED form the room in the hope that Shaktimaan will save them.
Unfortunately either their hope was not strong or Shaktimaan never existed to save them. Many kids were injured and some lost their life.
The producers of Shakitmaan faced the wrath of parents whose kids were killed because of such a concept. Media started awareness programs. Then The producers had to take an action which was never done before in the history of Kids Series making. They showed an episode called “THE MAKING OF SHAKTIMAAN”

Introduced everyone with Graphic Designing team, The actors, the telecasters and the cameraman. They showed to kids how shaktimaan is made and its for entertainment purpose only. This shattered the dreams of 1000’s and 1000’s of kids. The believe or faith in Shaktimaan was lost. Many followers stopped watching Shaktimaan for ever. But some Iditios like me still continued. But the dream of Becoming Shaktimaan one day has torn into pieces.
I count believe that something GOOD as shaktimaan can cause so much damage. People are committing suicidal jump or following a path which was leading to meeting or becoming shaktimaan before and now leading to nowhere. I was now ashamed to talk with all the people with whom I was fighting that Shaktimaan was real and Please teach me how to become one. When I tell this story to my friends that I was a Shakitmaan believer once, they laugh out a loud.

The serial producers accepted their responsibility and with the kids trusting shaktimaan and the only person they listened to, They introduced a segment in their series that taught kids “GOOD HABITS” Buts that not important for my story today.

Though lengthy and thanks that you are still continuing to read it…let me tell you the main reason of writing today. Stories Change people. They change how people think about any particular topic/ person/ thing/ place/ religion/ community.
Change the story and the perception of target can be changed. A good person can become evil and and evil can become GOD. Its just the matter of how responsible you act to tell a story to your future known.
Telling all good points about someone and hiding all negative can make him seem a good person. Telling all negative points about someone and hiding the positive one makes him seem an evil person. But telling all points you know about the person to your story listener makes the listener an responsible person to take his judgement to self evaluate he/she is good or evil person.

It all depends on what you teach and what they perceive to learn. If teaching about Shaktimaan still continued then Probably people still believed in him and side by side learned some good points like meditation, yoga and self stability, with a slight side-effect that kids committing suicide or fighting or killings in the Name or shakitmaan. But let me get a step ahead that what I am permitted to..
People even do this today. I believed in shakitimaan and fought for him because of the stories which were told to me, I believed he was real. In Today’s scenario, Even after growing up, people follow the stories that they have been told to as real and still follow the figure, person, character or energy form calling it GOD and are still fighting with others saying what they believe is the truth. Exactly like how I did in the past. But everyone takes time to learn their lesson and makes decisions according to their understanding. I am just a story teller and I will continue doing my job.

Thank you for reading to my views and I believe you will be as good story teller and Create a Positive Impact Like Shaktimaan and I DID…ha ha

Happy Week Ahead 🙂

Untold Stories 49: Discovering LOVE

No no no….Not a romantic post at all..

The Truth is..at some part of life phase…even you did it…
Discovering LOVE.
It is said that may Super Mad Scientist, Cr-eaters, Entrepreneurs and Great men were once in LOVE. Then fortunately or unfortunately they have to make the choice between what they love the most and they did continue to pursue it..

As teenager even I had those flux. Initially we try to read all theories “WHAT IS LOVE?”
Try to understand and develop our own meaning to all the literature we have till date about LOVE, Let that be poetry, stories, theories and close life examples we try to engulf all.
The next stage is being little brave and actually having those emotions for another human (or other parallel species if more than humans are ever reading my post in future 😉 )
The next stage is complicated but I can explain in simple words that is COMPARISON.
Some day, I don’t know how but every strong relationship gets through or is constantly going through a phase called Comparison.
At teenage the comparison is by the Tel Series we watch, or the books we read. We try or compare to match the character of our partner with a fictional character which one other writer had written in his ideal state of mind (If he/she have…ha ha)
At more mature age we compare it to the Ideal morals what we think are right. For example MONOGAMY is a moral and Ideal in thinking or most of
20th century mass.(And I am no exception)

The comparison with reality sometimes gives us momentary happiness. Thinking I got the exact partner which I was aiming for. Or sometimes in most cases puts us under tremendous remorse. “I dint think you are like this, or I dint imagine you will do like this or You are not the one what I have thought you are to be,” There have been cases when a person completes changes and looses his true identity just to be with his/her partner or other way round, being in a relationship one person changes the other to certain extent that he/she looses his actual identity who initially he/she was before the realtionship or in reality is/would be.

With a very older mental age we discover that LOVE was a myth. And to accept it or live in that myth is our own choice. Currently I am not even close to get that theory right.

But with some failure in relations in past in long term regression of emotions versus reality I realized, I missed out lot of moments in life. When I rethink What I was, What I am and What I could Have done in that situation better.

I disconnected with my first girlfriend without giving her a proper reasoning. I was so angry on her for some years that I passed the grief to many of the people who try to come close to me as I never wanted to be venerable again. I was more stable when someone accepted the pain i created with a happy face and gave me a smile when we departed. The funny thing is I don’t even remember the person’s name who actually made a big change in my life.

As in Beginning I said this is not a Romantic post and I am still kinda stick on my word, I would just like to pass one last message in this post to myself or every little human being who think who can take a point of the little mistakes I did and even he/she will be doing in future…

Don’t Miss the small moments. How so ever small they are, happiness, sadness, anger, frustration, joy, remorse what ever the feeling is…Just experience it in the moments. LIVE IT. If you cant understand this whole 49th post is all about…No worries Take a joint and read it again…
I am running out of contents to write on my blog now that I am expressing..may be that’s why I am playing with you now…
Ha Ha…Na I am kidding…

I would say again, The Myth, Moral, or the Ideal things you are running behind is not really the person you choose. IF you are Discovering LOVE in your own imagination saying its my way or the highway. You May find momentary happiness, enjoy it, make memories. As if at all there is a Myth called ‘True LOVE’ you will get addicted to the person how so ever he/she is. You would not want him/her to change. And contradicting my partial last statement, The person will change to accommodate the new realtionship.
A CHANGE OF CHOICE is in fact NO CHANGE AT ALL….

Enjoy My Loved ones…

Have a great week ahead..

Untold Stories 48: The Breaking Balloon

Ohhh…Good to be Back…!!!!!
I was doing more than 48 hours a week job in field of SECURITY. Whole day standing at one particular place, wish people, make observation and keep thinking, creating stories in mind.

One particular day, I saw one small girl probably age 3 to 5, was playing with a Big balloon with her father. All the time she use to push the balloon upwards, yes she was successful in doing so as the balloon was very lighter in weight that I was able to observe. Then due to its own weight and crossing the friction in air and pull of gravity, the balloon use to come down. Other times she use to throw this balloon towards her father and the balloon use to dash back to her after bouncing on her father’s head. For a robotic field of view this made no sense. There was no level of game-play, no competition and no difficulty to set in this game what she was playing and no reward system but still I could see JOY in her face every time the Balloon reaches her back and she gets the chance to throw it back in air. She was happy to do this again and again and again….

Rarely this play toy i.e Balloon use to come down taking direction of wind and then she use to miss the catch. Even after that the small girl was happy chasing after it. Then by running after the balloon she again got the hold of her toy and started throwing upwards. I could miss my childhood but I am sure I wont enjoy the game-play now as I had remember whats going to happen in next few moments. If you were a balloon player this must have happened with you too. Due to repeated memory or your experience that you cal it.. even you know what is going to happen in this situation even before I write or you read it. But lets assume u dint read my last line and pretend nothing serious point I ever strike in your memory and lets continue with the story..

After some time and several time passing the Balloon upwards in air and catching again, the Balloon lost its elasticity. And lets not blame it on the cruel rock sitting on road doing nothing and now hurting/pricking the only girls play toy; The BALLOON BURS-TED. And now all the air trapped in the Balloon released to the atmosphere creating an Equilibrium with the Atmospheric pressure. Scientifically and in Robotic view its amusing right??? But I saw, the moment this incident occurred, little girl started Crying out a loud. She held the Dead Remains of her Balloon (as if the Balloon was alive in first place) and ran towards her father as if some big loss has taken place. May be in her environment it is a big loss but that I am no one to judge. She ran towards her father and hugged him crying that Daddy The Balloon is NO more.

Her father hugged her back and took the Balloon away from her. Consoled her. (The voices/dialogues I couldn’t hear as I was standing little far from them and air resistance made it impossible for what the father was saying). The girl cried it for a while. Then Controlling her emotions and accepting her loss as real she stopped crying and then walked away in other direction from where they have come.

Standing and working and being in the routine for earning money for bread and survival almost made me into Robotic view, but little of my past memories still confirmed that I am a human when I recollected this has occurred in past too. When I was small, I use to play with Balloon and Then The balloon busted, being small I was not shameful in crying out a loud and taking the dead remains of Balloon to my parents or grandparents. Showing them the Balloon is gone and its no more. Then I remember they use to Carry the Dead remains of the Balloon away form me. Find a place in the Balloon rubber which his big enough to make swell it back. Fill air, tied a not and give me back saying the Big Balloon is now transferred into Baby Balloon, take a good care of it. Parents gave it a funny name called “Ti-cha-kula” And I use to get back in the happy world that the loss is bearable now as Balloon is still alive.

I could just observe that on those days when we were small Parents use to give hope to the young kids that even if the game play is small and even if there is loss, there is still hope that things can be rebuilt. There is no pressure, no need to cry on the current loss and take your steps further in future and some day build your own big world.
This hope keeps the humanity in me alive, and even I’ll try my best to keep the light of hope alive in my future generations that even if they fail in future they will remember the Bursting Balloon and hold the hope to accept the reality and continue more strongly keeping their baby steps into the BIG WORLD.

Good Day EVERYONE, Happy Week AHEAD 🙂

Untold story Post 47 : HEY MOGAMBOo !!!!

Greetings for the Day everyone, this post is only about Greetings smile emoticon

When I was small, various teachers were teaching me different ways to use ICE BREAKER words, such as HELLO in English, Nameste in Hindi, Namaskar in Marathi, Assalamu Alaikum in Urdu etc etc. and we use to respond to the same greeting phrase from whom we learned form. We never know such an Ice breaker words will have an importance in future, when we grow up…(physically or mentally that’s another case..)

Ice Breaker words are the words used in begging of any conversation or even when we would just like to acknowledge our presence to a stranger. If used properly the conversation proceeds in a happy tone…and some times and very very rare times goes to disaster (again depending on mood of the speaker)

When I was small along with learning form elders, we learned a lot form media, just like the kids of these days are doing form you-tube. But those days the video media was not much popular, but there was a craze for acceptance of the media. Thus on those days when humanity shifted to Color television form Black and White television, one bollywood movie became famous among Indian kids named, “MR. INDIA”
Mr India was Indian superhero with power of invisibility by the Invisibility Gadget he found in a professor’s lab, but more pointing out about the superhero, I would like to divert your focus on the Villain of this movie. The name of villain in this movie was MOGAMBO, and Every person who is working for Mr. Mogambo in his secret hideout, use to wish each other “HEY MOGAMBO” and the response was the same by lifting one hand and shouting back “HEY MOGAMBO”
When workers use to wish Mr Mogambo saying out a loud, HEY MOGAMBO, then the supervillian Mr Mogambo use to reply, “MOGAMBO KHUSH HUA” meaning Mogambo is Happy NOW.
This scene was getting popular among 90’s Indian kids and one day we planned a trick to one of our bald science primary school teacher. When he entered the class, we all stood up and raised our one had to the shoulders and said out a loud in Chores, ‘HEY MOGAMBO’ we all thought that professor either have not seen the movie or will get very angry on us for saying HEY MOGAMBO instead of GOOOD MOOOR NINIGGG SIRRR.
And to our surprise, our teacher replied to us “MOGAMBO KHUSH HUA”
We laughed out a hard and then continued our lessons of that day.

Ohhh, I wish to go back to my school days, but today the day is little different. With time and experience everyone wants to and expects to be treated different. Different languages and greetings want to dominate the population. I have heard stories that previously called Ice Breakers words have now become Passwords. For Eg. The person following Swaminarayan will only respond when greeted as “Jai Swaminarayan” and disregard any other greetings to him/her. Initially I thought it’s a joke but when tested on some of my known, its was actually true. Similarly the pharase “Jai Bheem” give you acceptance and access to special communities of India.

It was a pleasant experience to take greetings international. I try my best not to sound racist but I had to learn it the hard way if you wish “Ni Hao”, “Konichiwa” “Lin Ho” not to Chinese, Japanse or Taiwanise person respectively, I mean if we miss calculate the greetings and wish some other greeting to some other asian, then people get offended that they don’t belong to country for the language used to wish them.

Thus my overall observation was that these days simple Ice Breaker words have turned into Passwords. There is nothing wrong or right in these Greetings or their current use as passwords, but I only feel that more learning and Acceptance of the Essence in person’s intention is Important. If someone greets you, 99% of the time the intention’s are good, peace and harmony to wish and start a polite humanly conversation. Thus the essence of greetings must be appreciated and Enjoy your presence in this planet.
As it is well said, “IF YOU ARE ABOVE THE GRASS, THE ITS AN GOOD DAY :)”

Good Day Everyone

Untold Stories 46: Stealing is a Crime???

Ohhh, its feels so good to be back on writing, Happy New Year Everyone, So lets get the words Rolling 🙂..

One of the principle lesson taught at schools and as well as home that ‘Stealing is Bad’. And whenever the terms law and rules were explained to us when we were very very small, somewhere the sentence rings the bell “Stealing is a Crime”
More we grew up with the sentence more we tend to believe its true, more we learn more we tend to accept it as a moral. Even I did the same, I did followed the principle and hated the steals or robbers considering them bad people until and unless I was put in their shoes.

I think this is not the usual way I start the stories, but let me to take you to wonderland, Long Long ago, before all the merchandise came, water was free. Food grew on plants, trees and other food kept running on ground (for all non veg lovers 🙂 ). Goods and commodities were created or extracted by individuals form nature and exchanged with appreciation. We the humans were called wanderers, gathers and pre-form of Society. When Society formed every person or group found a way to look down on others, to protect their belongings, and expertise in one skill and serve others. Even at that time Skills of individuals were appreciated. By words or Gifts the Services were exchanged. And to create the concept of equal exchange, the Concept of MONEY was introduced. And here we are today in a world that creator of Money, we humans now bow down to it.

Still both the above paras are confusing?
I think person story will be more beneficial. So the story goes

All my childhood, I followed the principle of Personalization, My school friends might have faced my wrath even when they try to touch my belonging without my permission. Even when I was in College I believed the concept of me, mine and sometimes only mine. I don’t take other’s belongings and so dose others should follow. Not going to the place I am not invited in was the basic manners I followed. Until I met bunch of Idiots and named our group “Stifflers”. Just for a change in groups we did all the things which was against the mannerism which I was taught. And I kinda enjoyed it. Going for places where even I was not Invited in was explained by a simple sentence, “IF you are BORN on this PLANET, You are INVITED my Friend”

Stealing is Crime, But “whats created by NATURE belongs to NO-ONE.” and what belongs to No-one Belongs to EVERYONE. Thus in a fun way I was somewhere in-between the line of sanity and mischief. In group it was all a different cause and different believe system. But when It came to individual surviving in future, that was the point where my actual decision making will be involved. In next years after my graduation, I came to Australia to pursue Post-graduation. 1st Semester was luxurious but as the time passed, The Money I earned by Job was not sufficient to hold my stay in Australian living. Asking money form home was not an option as Conversion form Rupee to Dollar left nothing on my hand. It was days where I had to re-think, Is stealing a crime???.
The Day became bad financially and time came, where I use to steal a Glass of milk form my housemates, (if you reading this, sorry guys) and Sometimes eat what ever was left by the Guest Checkouts at the hotel I was working as Housekeeper. Morally I was broken down as I couldn’t maintained the principles which I was been practicing for all my life before. Either I was doing wrong by stealing food for survival or there is something wrong in the system.
The food which was free in past, is now commercially grown and thus we have to pay for it. The water which was free in rivers now have a price of Minimum 3$ in a bottle. Even the money what we created and on top of that we claim to earn is Taxed for the benefit for all. I know you all in head have possible logical educated answers to my sentences, but then I urge to ask you again to re-think and re-evaluate is Stealing is Really a CRIME?

Currently I am part of system and wind of bad days is turned over, I again earning enough to have a luxurious life and have lust of earning more and more. But still couldn’t stand a hungry person in front of me, and still couldn’t bare a though that Somewhere in this planet, there is a student just like me, struggling to earn hard, struggling for his bread, and when in bad times have been thinking to move his hand looking left and right that no one watches him/her taking the food. And in his mind Deciding, “IS STEALING IS A CRIME????”

Have a thought & Enjoy your week ahead smile emoticon

Untold Stories 45: Can We FIX it??? YES we CAN !!!!!

World is not a perfect place, It never was and it may never will be.

May be the first line is a pessimist in me speaking but sometimes I take my time to even listen to the pessimistic side of me, as i don’t want to neglect any side of my inner voice.

Working as Security Officer takes me various places. And many a times to places where I have all the time in the world to observe minute things happening around me and to think and re-think on the prospects of how this day is being useful to me or what I can learn form here. Then at some hours I recalculate or filter the thoughts into main categories, One which are Important to me and Second Which are not.

Recently I have been allotted construction sites where I have a chance to observe and sometimes interact with Construction Workers.
Each construction workers has special or unique skills which all over make the team workable. And the jokes followed throughout the day are uncontrollably awesome that makes my day to continue going on site. Ya sometimes swearing also takes place but these guys have an awesome attitude that reduces the work load stress and all are back to work.

This story happened just a day ago. As per the last plan they had, all construction workers fixed tiles and Fire Extinguisher as explained to them. After the work was done, the head contractor came and observed that the wiring which was suppose to be beneath the tiles has been done not according to plan and even Fire Extinguisher has been mounted on the wrong side of door (the opposite of what is planed now is the right side explained by operation planner – as I don’t have knowledge about left or right or which side is correct to keep fire extinguisher, I wont publish the correct side and let the Contractor decide)
But the mistakes involved can be only be fixed now by completely undo the construction these guys were doing form past 3 days. That involves removing the tiles and cutting a whole segment of wall to refit the fire extinguisher on the other side. By this insistence I was reminded by the kids show me and my sis use to watch in childhood. Or actually speaking I was forced to watch as we had only one color TV in our house that time which played all channels and thus we got to take chances and watch shows. Thus by force or choice I had experience of watching the kids show BOB THE BUILDER and this dialogue was always repeated on the show “Can we Fix it?” to which the reply came “YES WE CAN”
The construction workers used some kinda adult version of this dialogue. “Can we Fu***ng Fix It?” To which the Construction workers replied, “Yes we are getting paid more to do this job again, thus Yes We Can.” Probably in next two days they will fix the issue. As I am not assigned my next shift there so I wont be able to watch the reaming construction.
Point to note here is Instead of getting more angry, instead of being sad about the happenings around. The construction workers decided to work on the problems again and try to fix the issue as per new plan.

Probably life is similar, lot of problems, lot of ups and downs and the world is the same. Then it comes back to my inner voice, “The World is not an Perfect place, it never was and may be it never will be” to which I say out a loud, Who needs a perfect world. Its all about my attitude towards the world, I just have to plan for the day and the day ahead. And Say

CAN I FIX IT??……Haha ha you know the rest.

Cheers everyone, Have a Good Day Ahead
